As part of Key Safety Systems capability as a restraint system supplier,
we are able to offer a wide range of products and services to meet the electronics and sensing requirements of our customers.
Key Safety Systems offers full system integration for restraint electronics using proprietary methodologies to develop vehicle
crash plans, crash algorithm performance analysis and seamless integration of sensor capability into the overall restraint system.
Key Safety Systems also offers our own world-class algorithm technologies, such as the BASS crash sensing algorithm, for implementation
into third party hardware.
In addition, our Hamlin® Division produces a wide variety of position, proximity, and motion sensors.
Additionally, Key Safety Systems leads in the integration of
the electrical and mechanical aspects of restraint electronics. Examples of our work range from turn key solutions including specification
generation through to launch, to consulting services on sensor packaging (vehicle and seat based), diagnostic requirements and vehicle network
integration.
Key Safety Systems also provides advice on the procurement of Air Bag ECUs, Occupant Sensors and other Restraint Electronic
devices. Key Safety Systems has benchmarked many of the available technologies and can provide independent assessments on likely restraint system
performance with specific components.
